Workshop: Navigating Complex Situations

Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 5:00 PM until 6:00 PMPacific Daylight Time UTC -07:00

Join us for a free, online active learning workshop on complex systems and a glimpse into the curriculum of our Master of Science in Decision Making and Applied Analytics (MDA) and Certificate in Decision Making and Applied Analytics (CDA). In this session, we will discuss and apply tools to understand the complex causal relationships which underlie social systems, in order to make better informed decisions and achieve desired outcomes in any context. We will work through examples and case studies from Minerva’s graduate curriculum and discover how our programs can help you become a more confident decision-maker and leader.

Please note that this session will require participants' active participation in order to effectively demonstrate our active learning methodology. Due to the interactive nature of the event, we will not be able to record it.

Facilitated by: Mark Seskin, Professor of Social Sciences

We will share short pre-reading material for review before the session to facilitate active participation.
